Problem
Mwambezi village is located 12 km south of Mbala town in Northern Province of the Republic of Zambia. As long as one is healthy the village is one of the beautiful places to live. However, heart wrenching begins with illness. The village does not have any health facility or clinic. Anyone who needs medical attention has to walk or be transported by bicycle to Mbala General Hospital 12 km away. This is not easy at all for anyone old or young, male or female
The Solution
Ntungo Noble Projects, Inc. plans to train and mentor the people of Mwambezi village in building a Medical Clinic at Mwambezi village to bring access to healthcare close to the people.
Goals
- To bring healthcare close to where the people are at Mwambezi village
- To provide a way for preventative medical care for children
- To provide access to medical care for expecting mothers
- To bring health education close to the people of Mwambezi village
- To provide a place for medical treatment of any sick people at or close to Mwambezi village
Anticipated Impact
The medical clinic will help eliminate poverty through improved health of the people of Mwambezi village. When the people are health they can do more in every sphere of socio-economic development - education, farming, family relations, community development, etc.
